At the beginning of the session, the DELTA heroes played a classic game. Dice were rolled, and when a hero rolled doubles, the race was on: put on the clothes, unwrap the gift, and hope no one else rolled doubles before you finished. Whoever opened the gift got to keep it. There was a lot of laughter, a lot of suspense, and a lot of joy. What was especially sweet was watching each of the “winning” heroes immediately share their gift with the rest of their group. That simple, playful moment led to a powerful discussion: Is there a difference between a gift and a treasure? From there, our guiding question for the session emerged—“What treasures will you share?” As we wrapped up Session 3 this week, it was beautiful to reflect on just how much our heroes shared with one another.
